The building design represented in this kit could be found in many locations across the Great Western region, sometimes in a slightly modified or extended form, and often constructed of local materials (e.g stone). An ideal small to medium size station building for a branch line through station.

This kit features up-dated fine detail elements - strip-laid tiled roof; fine cast pewter chimney pots, additional materials for strengthening the model.

A versatile kit based on a prototype at Ashby Magna on the Great Central Railway, but which can be used to represent a rail over or under bridge anywhere on the British railway network.

The kit assembles to a double road over / under bridge, but allows the modeller to choose between a brick-arch style or straight girder based span, with parapets of girder construction or of brick, as well as options for a single track span. Also included is an optional island platform central pier section, typical of those found on GCR stations.

With a little ingenuity, it is possible to use a single kit to construct a multiple-span bridge, either stand-alone, or as a low-relief model to fit against a backscene.

Available in 'OO' scale only
